At The Mark Wandall Foundation, we stand as a lifeline for grieving youth, providing connection, empowerment, and unwavering support after the death of a parent, sibling, or guardian. Through our powerful partnerships, like Comfort Zone Camp and our equine-assisted learning initiative, we create safe spaces for healing and growth. Our Quarterly Reconnect Program keeps these bonds strong, bringing young people together for face-to-face support and community. And each year, we invest in their futures, awarding scholarships to Florida students pursuing higher education or trade school. Because no child should navigate grief alone, The Mark Wandall Foundation is here to walk beside them.
Since our inception over 20 years ago, we have worked tirelessly to:
- Serve over 700 youth, providing $117,500 in aid, awards, and assistance to families in need.
- Award more than $67,000 in scholarships to Florida students, helping them build brighter futures.
- Invest over $880,000 of donor contributions directly into our community through impactful programs and partnerships.
But we’re not stopping here. As we grow, so does our responsibility to ensure long-term sustainability and greater impact. That’s why we are taking bold steps to strengthen our internal infrastructure.

The Mark Wandall Foundation’s Organizational Infrastructure Campaign aims to raise $600,000 to support three key initiatives over the next three years, ensuring their growth, development, and long-term sustainability.
- Staff Onboarding & Development – Hiring and training two dedicated staff members to amplify fundraising efforts and scale our programs for greater reach.
- Program Growth & Enhancement – Expanding existing initiatives to meet the evolving needs of our community.
- Technology & Systems Enhancement – Upgrading our digital tools to improve efficiency, streamline operations, and strengthen connections with the families we serve.
